Graphic designer in Wollongong for product catalogues and decks
I'm a graphic designer in Wollongong for Illawarra businesses that need product catalogues, price lists, brochures, sales decks and campaign creative that look sharp and say the right thing. I build catalogues in InDesign with linked data, so next year's price update is an update, not a rebuild. And because I also work on the marketing and the CRM, the design starts from what it needs to sell.
Your catalogue is out of date the day it's printed
Most businesses don't need a rebrand. They need their existing brand applied properly, and their product information correct, everywhere.
The catalogue is a 120-page file that one person knows how to update, and every price was typed in by hand. The sales deck was built by three different people over four years. Every campaign starts with someone searching for "that image we used last time". And when you do pay a designer, you get something pretty that doesn't fit the message, because nobody connected the creative to the strategy.
- A product catalogue rebuilt by hand every year, with errors found after it's printed.
- Prices and product codes in the catalogue that don't match the website or the ERP.
- Product photos shot at different times, on different backgrounds, in different light.
- A sales deck that's long, inconsistent and too embarrassing to send.
- Feedback arriving by email from five people, on three different versions of the file.
- A PDF catalogue nobody can find on the website, let alone search.
Product catalogue design and the stuff you actually use
I focus on the creative that wins work and keeps your brand consistent day to day: catalogues, brochures, decks, templates and campaign assets, built in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat.
Product catalogues and price lists
Catalogues and price lists in InDesign with linked data, so product names, codes and prices flow in from a spreadsheet or system export instead of being typed. Updates become a data refresh and a proof check.
From $2,500
Brochures and spec sheets
Range brochures, product flyers, spec sheets and capability statements designed as a family, so every document looks like it came from the same business.
From $2,500
Sales and pitch decks
Decks with a clear story, a strong structure and slides that support the person presenting. Plus a master template your team can reuse.
From $2,500
Digital catalogues
FlippingBook and Issuu versions of your catalogue for the website and email, with links through to product pages and your enquiry form.
Photo retouching and composites
Photoshop retouching, cut-outs, colour matching and product-in-place composites, so the range looks consistent in the catalogue, on the website and in ads.
Vector artwork and icons
Illustrator for logos, icons, diagrams and line artwork that prints cleanly at any size and drops into the website without going fuzzy.
Campaign creative
Ads, social graphics, email headers and landing page visuals designed as a set, so the whole campaign looks like one campaign.
Review and print-ready files
Acrobat review rounds with every comment in one place, print PDFs to your printer's spec, and stock images licensed properly with the licence on file.
Brand assets and templates
Logo files, colour and type rules, document templates and HubSpot email templates pulled into a toolkit people can actually find and use.
Graphic design and catalogue pricing
All prices AUD. No GST is added. Fixed quotes for defined projects, or book a design day when you have a list of smaller jobs. Print costs and stock image licences are extra.

From brief to final files
Brief and data
What it's for, who sees it and what they should do next. For catalogues, we also agree where the product data comes from and who owns it.
Concept
A first direction based on your brand and the brief, with a few sample pages or slides. One strong idea, explained, rather than five half-ideas to choose from.
Refine
Two rounds of changes built in, marked up in Acrobat from one decision-maker, so feedback doesn't go round in circles.
Deliver
Print-ready PDFs, digital editions, editable source files and templates set up so your team can keep using them.
Where good design pays its way
Typical scenarios, not client stories. The numbers are illustrative.
The annual catalogue rebuild
A manufacturer updates a 100-page catalogue every year. Someone retypes 1,500 prices from an ERP export, then three people proof the lot. Rebuilt with linked data, the prices come straight from the export, the layout stays put, and proofing focuses on what changed. The same clean data can feed the website and HubSpot. See manufacturers.
The 40-slide sales deck
Sales reps each cut their own version of an old 40-slide deck before every meeting, about an hour each time. A sharp 12-slide deck with a master template and optional extra slides gets that down to minutes, and every prospect sees the same strong story.
The campaign kit
A business runs a seasonal campaign across ads, social, email and a landing page. Instead of designing each piece separately, one design day produces the full set in every size, with a matching landing page.
The capability statement
A trades or engineering business needs to look the part for a council or corporate tender. A clean, well-structured capability statement with the right information in the right order makes the evaluator's job easy.
Design from someone who knows the product data
I've produced catalogues, brochures and linked-data publications in InDesign for a multi-brand manufacturing group, and looked after the product and pricing data behind them in the ERP, website and CRM. That's the unusual part. Most designers lay out what you send them. I'll also spot when the data is wrong, and fix it at the source with product data clean-up.
Because I also work on marketing strategy, HubSpot and websites, I don't need a 10-page brief to understand what a deck or campaign is trying to do. I'm not a big branding agency, and I'm not trying to be. If you need your existing brand applied properly to the things that win work, that's my sweet spot.

Graphic design and catalogue FAQs
How much does a graphic designer cost in Wollongong?
My design projects start from $1,500, catalogues and brochures from $2,500, sales decks from $2,500 and a design day is $1,800. Defined projects get a fixed quote. Design days suit a list of smaller jobs you want knocked out together.
How much does product catalogue design cost?
Catalogue and brochure production starts from $2,500. The final price depends on page count, the state of your product data and how many images need retouching. A short brochure sits near the bottom of that range. A large catalogue with messy data costs more, and I'll tell you where the money goes before you commit.
Can the catalogue update from our price list automatically?
Mostly. I build catalogues in InDesign with linked data, so product names, codes, descriptions and prices come in from a spreadsheet or an export from your ERP. A price update becomes a data refresh plus a check of anything that changed length or moved. It still needs a human proof, but nobody retypes a thousand prices.
Do I get the source files?
Yes. You get final files in the formats you need plus editable InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop source files and templates, so your team or another designer can keep working with them. You own the work once it's paid for. Stock images are licensed properly, with the licence details handed over.
Can you do a digital version of our catalogue?
Yes. I can publish it as a FlippingBook or Issuu edition for your website and emails, with links through to product pages, alongside the print PDF.
Can you design our sales deck and templates?
Yes, that's some of the most valuable design work a business can buy. I start with the story and structure, then design a deck and a reusable master template. Brochure, proposal and HubSpot email templates can be built to match.
How many rounds of changes are included?
Two rounds on fixed-price projects, marked up in Acrobat so every comment is in one place. In practice, a clear brief at the start means most projects don't need more. Extra rounds can be added at the design day or hourly rate.
How fast can you turn work around?
Small projects are often done within a week. A sales deck usually takes 2 to 3 weeks including the story work and changes. Catalogues depend on page count and how ready the data is, and you get a schedule with the quote. If you have a hard deadline, tell me up front and I'll tell you honestly if it's doable.
